Amanda began her career in the hair industry 14 years ago. Graduating with a Vidal Sassoon Diploma, she continued to pursue a career focused on fashion and the environment. Amanda fell in love with doing hair while using her favorite product line, KEVIN.MURPHY. She became an Educator for the brand 4 years ago and teaches color theory, color technology and craft haircutting for KEVIN.MUPRHY.

Amanda opened J’adore in 2025 after finding the need for a luxury salon that aligns with her values, uses all of her favorite products and hair colors, and is a refuge from the hustle and bustle of NYC.

Amanda is a “francophile” and loves to travel. Her “second home” is in Paris, France where she practices her language, enjoys French dining, shopping and exploring new wines. She invites you into her salon home, where you’ll find her immersed in her craft, listening to jazz, and cherishing the connection with each guest.

Amanda’s Hourly Rate: $200/hr
